Noah Carter is set on playing for Kalen DeBoer.

The blue-chip defender signed with Washington to play for DeBoer in December. DeBoer was hired by Alabama before Carter enrolled at UW. Carter was released from his National Letter of Intent with the Huskies, and now he is a member of UA’s 2024 recruiting class.

Carter shared the big news on social media.

Out of Peoria (Arizona) Centennial High School, Carter is listed as over 6-3 and 218 pounds. On the 247Sports Composite, Carter is rated 4-stars, the No. 4 player from the state of Arizona, No. 22 Edge prospect and No. 253 recruit overall in the Class of 2024. Arizona, Arizona State, Louisville and Texas are among the other programs that showed interest during Carter’s recruitment.

Carter is one of three unsigned commitments ahead of next month’s National Signing Day. He’s not the only familiar face DeBoer’s staff has turned to in managing the UA roster.

Alabama has added a trio of Washington players via the transfer portal. All three former Huskies are on the offensive side of the ball: QB Austin Mack, OL Parker Brailsford and WR Germie Bernard.
