Alabama LB Christian Miller accepts Senior Bowl invitation
Christian Miller will get two more chances to suit up for Alabama if the team reaches the national championship game, but he added a third game to his schedule Wednesday.
The Crimson Tide linebacker accepted his invitation to the Senior Bowl, the primary upperclassman showcase for NFL scouts and executives. This year’s Senior Bowl is slated for Jan. 26, 2019, in Mobile.

As a redshirt senior, Miller has tallied 35 tackles, 10 tackles for loss and seven sacks. He has been a steadying presence for Alabama’s fourth-ranked scoring defense, which will face its biggest test of the season against Oklahoma in the Orange Bowl College Football Playoff semifinal Dec. 29.
With a win in that game, the Crimson Tide will move on to the national championship game. That will be a fine platform for Miller to flash his talents, but he’ll be at the Senior Bowl, too.
