Alabama LB reportedly out for the season after injury against LSU
Alabama linebacker Que Robinson is out for the season after suffering an “upper body injury” during the Crimson Tide’s 42-13 win over LSU on Saturday, according to 247Sports’ Matt Zenitz.
Robinson, a former 4-star recruit in 2020, is in his fifth year with the Crimson Tide program. He has totaled 4.0 sacks in 2024, the team’s co-leader in that department with Jihaad Campbell. He is also second on the team with 7.0 tackles for a loss.
He did not play in the 2020 season and mainly played on special teams in 2021. In 2022, though, he played in every game, finishing with 0.5 sacks.
His role grew even more in 2023 as he finished with 25 tackles and 1.5 sacks. Following the retirement of Nick Saban and the eventual hiring of Kalen DeBoer, Robinson remained with the program, ultimately emerging as a starter in the LB corps.
But he appeared to suffer an injury to his left arm during Saturday’s game against the Tigers, leaving the game and entering the medical tent. He was then seen on the sideline with a sling.
Now, it looks as if Robinson’s college career has come to a crushing end, especially as the Tide look to finish perfect in their remaining three games and position themselves for a potential College Football Playoff berth.
