Alabama looks to extend winning streak at Mercedes-Benz Stadium
Alabama clinched the SEC West with the win over Kentucky on Saturday, and now the Tide are looking to continue an impressive streak at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.
Since Nick Saban took over as head coach, Alabama is 17-1 in Atlanta and has won 16-straight games. Alabama is a perfect 7-0 in Mercedes-Benz Stadium, which was built in 2017. The Tide have not lost in Atlanta since the 2008 SEC Championship, when Tim Tebow and Florida dropped Alabama.
.@AlabamaFTBL is back in the @SEC Championship game!
The Tide are 17-1 in #Atlanta under Saban and has won 16 straight games in The A, including a perfect 7-0 @mbstadium. The last time Bama lost in Atlanta was vs. Tim Tebow and the Gators in the '08 SEC Championship Game

Alabama will be making its return to Atlanta for the SEC Championship after missing last year’s championship game as LSU won the SEC West. The Tide beat Georgia in the 2021 SEC Championship, which was also the last time Georgia lost a game.
The Tide are looking to keep their impressive Mercedes-Benz Stadium streak up this year, and while the SEC East is still up for grabs, it seems like Georgia is on its way to Atlanta, barring a loss to Ole Miss on Saturday.
