New Alabama offensive coordinator Brian Daboll has plenty of experience working with legendary coaches.

After spending the past four years in New England with Bill Belichick, Daboll will spend this fall working for Nick Saban in Tuscaloosa.

Speaking with reporters before Alabama’s practice on Saturday, Daboll said he’s learned a lot from the two coaching legends and said the biggest similarities between them are their no-nonsense attitudes and the way they hold everyone within their programs accountable:

Daboll has been on the Patriots’ coaching staff for all five of Belichick’s Super Bowl victories since 2000. Now with the Crimson Tide, the first-year offensive coordinator will now try to add some college championships to his resume.
