Alabama offensive lineman Damieon George has entered the NCAA transfer portal as he announced via Twitter on Monday.

He will have 2 years of eligibility remaining at his next destination.

George saw action in 2 games this season — the Week 1 contest against Utah State and the matchup with Texas. In 2021, George saw the field for a total of 12 games with three starts in the back half of the year against New Mexico State, Arkansas and Auburn.

With the announcement that he is set to transfer, he become the fifth Alabama football player to enter the transfer portal as he joins the likes of defensive lineman Braylen Ingraham, kicker Jack Martin, running back Trey Sanders and defensive back Khyree Jackson.

It will be interesting to see where he lands next.
