Alabama hasn’t had the usual level of staff turnover this year as it has in years past, as both coordinators, Bill O’Brien and Pete Golding, remain in Tuscaloosa at this point.

But, there were still some positions that needed to be filled after the season, including special teams coordinator, CB coach and OL coach.

Nick Saban hired Coleman Hutzler as the new special teams coordinator, with Travaris Robinson filling the CB coach role and Eric Wolford taking over as the OL coach.

The school made the hirings official on Wednesday, and Saban released a statement:

“We are pleased and happy to be able to add Coleman Hutzler, Travaris Robinson and Eric Wolford to our coaching staff,” Saban said. “They are all talented coaches who are well respected across the country for their knowledge of the game, ability to recruit and aptitude for teaching and developing young men both on the field and in life.”

How long will these new hires stick around in Tuscaloosa? That remains to be seen, but they’ll have plenty of talent to work with on the Crimson Tide roster in 2022 and beyond.

And, Alabama just signed the nation’s No. 2 recruiting class during the 2022 cycle, so plenty of new talent will be joining the roster this fall.
