Crimson Tide hoping to add to hardware haul in 2014
University of Alabama players have won at least one of the major national college football awards every year since 2008.
Started by offensive lineman Andre Smith with the Outland Trophy for the best interior lineman, it’s the longest active streak in college football.
Last year, quarterback A.J. McCarron won both the Maxwell Award and the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award, and linebacker C.J. Mosley took home the Butkus Award as best linebacker.
