LSU defensive back Dwayne Thomas last week said he predicts the Tigers are ‘going to dominate’ Alabama.

How did Crimson Tide players respond to that remark? Mostly with silence, according to a report from AL.com.

“We’ll see come Saturday, I guess,” Alabama left guard Ross Pierschbacher told AL.com. “We really don’t pay too much attention to that. We still got to practice and get better and get ready to go. They preach to us not to talk smack. We’ll just let them do that, I guess.”

Defensive back Minkah Fitzpatrick and tight end O.J. Howard echoed Pierschbacher, with the former saying the smack talk is something the Crimson Tide shouldn’t pay attention to. Howard said he and his teammate prefer to “let our play speak for itself.”

No. 1 Alabama (8-0, 5-0) visits the No. 15 Tigers (5-2, 3-1) at 8 p.m. ET on Saturday. The Crimson Tide has won the last five meetings in this heated SEC West rivalry.
