Jalen Hurts was a difference maker for Alabama against LSU and put his name in the Crimson Tide record book.

He opened the scoring with a touchdown pass, but a third-quarter three-yard run gave him 20 career rushing touchdowns, which is the most by a quarterback in program history. By midway through the fourth quarter, Hurts had 44 rushing yards on 14 carries and the TD.

Hurts passed Harry Gilmer’s 70-year-old school record.

This is nothing new for Hurts, who last year set the single-season record for rushing yards by an Alabama quarterback. He finished last season with 954 yards.
