Alabama has finalized a date for its annual A-Day this spring.

Yea Alabama, the university’s official NIL collective, shared the news Friday morning that this year’s A-Day will take place on April 12. A kickoff time has not yet been announced.

Kalen DeBoer spoke with Yea Alabama about A-Day and acknowledged the incredible support the Crimson Tide received from their fans last spring. More than 72,000 fans filled the seats at Bryant-Denny Stadium that afternoon.

“Obviously it’s well supported, and that’s what you get at Alabama, and I know that would be the case again this year as it was for us in year one,” DeBoer told Yea Alabama. “It was a great time to just cap off the first spring together. But I think for me every spring game, or in this case, the A-Day game, it’s, to me, a really important practice for us. You know, you only get 15 in the spring, and so every day matters. So we’ll use that again in that evaluation and continue to improve.”

This A-Day will be the first opportunity for fans to get a look at Alabama’s offense in the post-Jalen Milroe era. With Milroe headed to the NFL, the Crimson Tide are expected to conduct a quarterback competition this spring. Returning QBs include Ty Simpson and Austin Mack.

A-Day will mark the end of an extremely important spring period for DeBoer and his staff. Expectations will be high in Tuscaloosa in 2025, particularly after a 2024 campaign that saw Alabama fail to reach the College Football Playoff.

Further details regarding Alabama’s 2025 A-Day will be announced at a later date.
