Alabama is finishing strong on the recruiting trail, and that continued on Monday.

Four-star cornerback Nigel Knott, the No. 7 cornerback and No. 62 overall prospect in the Class of 2016 according to 247Sports’ composite rankings, has committed to the Crimson Tide.

Knott made the decision in this “Behind the Scenes” video posted on Bleacher Report.

“For the next three to four years, I will be attending the University of Alabama,” Knott says in the video.

The 5-foot-11, 175-pounder out of Madison, Miss., chose Alabama over several other schools, including his top choices in Ole Miss, Oregon, Mississippi State and Tennessee.

Knott took an official visit to Tuscaloosa on Jan. 22. He’s the only cornerback pledge for the Tide in this recruiting cycle after the school landed two five-star corners in each of the previous two classes.
