Alabama specialist Jack Martin is going to explore his transfer options moving forward in his college career.

The Crimson Tide backup kicker/punter took to Twitter on Monday to reveal his decision to enter the NCAA transfer portal with 2 years of eligibility remaining.

Martin said he’ll receive his Bachelor’s degree in finance at the end of the first semester of this year. He thanked Alabama for the opportunity:

Martin transferred to Alabama from Troy prior to the 2021 season. He kicked off 5 times in 2021 and had 3 touchbacks. He also made 1 field goal in 1 try.

Where he ends up next remains to be seen, but it appears his time in Tuscaloosa is coming to an end.
