Alabama staffers are often hot commodities with other schools, as working under Nick Saban is an attractive line to add to anyone’s resume.

After the College Football Playoff title game on Jan. 10, the Crimson Tide are expected to lose another staff member to a head coaching gig.

Per FootballScoop.com, Long Island University, an FCS school, is set to hire a current analyst for the Tide:

Ron Cooper, a veteran coach with experience in both the NFL and at myriad Power 5 programs, including serving this season as a senior analyst on Nick Saban’s Alabama staff, will be named head coach at Long Island University, sources tell FootballScoop.

Long Island plays in the Northeast Conference and just finished a 2021 campaign that saw it go 2-8 overall.
