Alabama and coach Nate Oats are red-hot on the recruiting trails. Since the calendar turned to November, the Tide have been busy.

So far, the Tide have added 5-star F Brandon Miller, 4-star F Noah Clowney and 3-star JUCO F Nick Pringle to their recruiting class since the start of the month, joining 5-star guard Jaden Bradley.

Then, on Tuesday, the Tide added player No. 5 to their 2022 class, picking up a commitment from 4-star guard Rylan Griffen out of Richardson, Texas.

Griffen announce his decision on a broadcast live from his high school.

Per the 247Sports composite rankings, Griffen is the No. 5 shooting guard in the class of 2022 and the No. 6 overall recruit from the state of Texas.

He chose the Tide over fellow finalists Oklahoma, NC State and Kansas State.

The Tide now have 5 players in their 2022 recruiting class. Prior to Griffen’s commitment, the class ranked No. 4 in the nation and No. 2 in the SEC, per 247Sports.
