Alabama’s battle against Texas in Austin was nothing short of spectacular.

Maybe it’s because Texas was supposed to be waving the white flag by the time the 2nd quarter rolled around. When Quinn Ewers left early with an injury, we all thought the Crimson Tide would pull away, but that moment never came.

And FOX announced Tuesday morning that the game was the most watched across any network so far in the 2022 season. It’s also the 4th-most watched CBS on FOX coverage in its history.

The game amassed a whopping 10,595,000 viewers.

Alabama obviously came out on top in the end, but the game was enough to earn Texas the respect of not only the college football world, but the AP Poll. The Longhorns are ranked at No. 21 in Week 3’s installment.
