Alabama tight end Miles Kitselman intends to enter the transfer portal.

Kitselman, who spent the past 2 seasons with the Crimson Tide after beginning his career in the JUCO ranks, played in 13 games for Alabama this season.

“I want to thank coach Saban and coach Cox for giving me the opportunity of a lifetime,” Kitselman said in his announcement. “I will forever be grateful for my time at the University of Alabama. After talking with family and close friends, I have decided to enter into the transfer portal with 1 year of eligibility remaining.”

Kitselman joined Alabama by way of Hutchinson Community College (Kansas) ahead of the 2022 season. He was primarily a special teams contributor for the Crimson Tide over the past 2 years.

Kitselman did make 2 catches for 18 yards during the 2022 campaign. However, he didn’t record any receiving statistics in 2023.

Alabama has a pair of tight ends joining the program in the class of 2024. The Crimson Tide have signed 4-star tight end Caleb Odom and 3-star tight end Jay Lindsey.
