A potential pickup for Alabama through the transfer portal recently made a guest appearance with the Crimson Tide.

Domani Jackson, a highly-touted cornerback who previously played for USC, was reportedly seen at Alabama’s Rose Bowl practice on Thursday.

Jackson committed and signed with the Trojans on Dec. 17, 2021. A 5-star prospect out of Mater Dei High School in Santa Ana, Ca., Jackson enrolled at USC on Jan. 11, 2022.

After two seasons with USC, Jackson entered the transfer portal on Dec. 19. According to 247Sports, he is a 4-star transfer recruit.

Before choosing USC, Jackson considered going to Alabama. He also had Michigan, Ohio State and other Power 5 Conference schools on his list.

During the 2023 season, Jackson had 32 total tackles and 3 pass deflections. For his career with the Trojans, the sophomore compiled 34 tackles and 4 pass deflections.

Alabama, currently 12-1 on the season, is the fourth seed in this season’s College Football Playoff. The program entered the CFP, leapfrogging Florida State for the final spot.

The Crimson Tide is set to face top-seeded Michigan (13-0) in the Rose Bowl game this Monday at 5 p.m. on ESPN.
