Alabama trolls Auburn’s Demarcus Riddick for Jalen Milroe trash talk ahead of Iron Bowl
Alabama’s social media team had some fun at Demarcus Riddick’s expense after the Tide’s 28-14 victory in the Iron Bowl on Saturday.
Earlier in the week, Riddick, a freshman linebacker, had some big predictions for this year’s Iron Bowl. In addition to claiming he’d never lose to Alabama while he was at Auburn, Riddick also promised that Milroe wouldn’t get “out of that box” on Saturday.
“He’s a good quarterback, he’s fast,” Riddick said of Milroe. “But, I mean, he’s not faster than me … He will not get out of that box this week.”
Neither prediction proved to be true.
Milroe’s legs played a huge role in Alabama’s win over the Tigers. He rushed for 104 yards and 3 touchdowns on 7 carries as Alabama sealed a 9-3 record during the regular season.
After the game was over Alabama’s social media team released an edit featuring Riddick’s comments and one of Milroe’s 3 TD runs:

Milroe responded to Riddick’s trash talk earlier in the week by claiming that he wasn’t familiar with the freshman linebacker.
Milroe also threw for 256 yards in the win over Auburn.
Alabama has now won 5 consecutive Iron Bowls.
