Tua Tagovailoa has officially started his recovery from hip surgery, and the Alabama quarterback has made his way back to Tuscaloosa to start his rehab program.

Following surgery, the university released an update saying his prognosis is great and a full recovery is expected.

“Tua underwent successful surgery on his right hip Monday morning in Houston,” Dr. Lyle Cain, the team orthopedic surgeon, said in a statement. “The procedure went as planned, and he is resting comfortably. Tua’s prognosis is excellent, and we expect him to make a full recovery. He will return to Tuscaloosa in the next several days to begin his rehab.”

On Friday night, Alabama shared a video welcoming Tagovailoa back to the football facility. Within the video, it’s easy to see that Alabama players love Tagovailoa so much. Not only is he a great player, but he’s a great leader and teammate.

Of course, speculation will start to heat up now that the season is winding down and the NFL Draft is only five months away.

What decision will Tagovailoa make?
