Alabama wide receiver, former 4-star recruit, enters transfer portal, per report
An Alabama wide receiver who has seen limited playing time recently has reportedly entered the transfer portal.
Xavier Williams, a redshirt sophomore who isn’t playing this season due to a medical issue, has entered the transfer portal,
Matt Zenitz of On3sports reported. Williams had 3 catches for 24 yards last season in 6 games, including the final 4 games.
Coach Nick Saban about 3 months ago was asked about Williams, but didn’t clarify why he wasn’t playing this season.

Williams was entering his redshirt junior season in 2021. He was a 4-star wide receiver (per 247Sports Composite) out of Chaminade-Madonna College Preparatory School in Hollywood, Fla., in the Crimson Tide’s 2018 recruiting class.
