Alabama F Herbert Jones is one of the most popular players on the team, especially after he displayed his toughness playing through a hand injury last season.

He declared early for the 2020 NBA Draft this offseason, and now he has announced his final decision regarding his draft status.

As you can see below, Jones took to Instagram and announced that he was withdrawing his name from the draft pool and would return to Alabama for his senior season:

That’s big news for coach Nate Oats and the Crimson Tide. The team is losing Kira Lewis Jr. to the NBA, and fellow guard John Petty still hasn’t made a final decision.

Jones appeared in 27 games this past season, starting 26 of them. He averaged 7.9 points, 6.4 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.3 steals per contest.
