Amari Cooper makes Raider teammates read from his book club after winning bet
In a recent edition of SportsCenter video segment “Hang Time,” ESPN personality Sam Alipour met up with several members of the Raiders for a game of pickup basketball. Among the Oakland players participating in the event was former Alabama receiver, Amari Cooper.
The segment featured half the players with Cooper and the other half with receiver Michael Crabtree. The two sides split up for a game of pickup basketball, but before the game got underway, friendly bets were made. Crabtree wanted the losers to wear his custom clothing line for a week straight while Cooper planned to make his opponents not only read a book from his book club in a week, they had to write a blog reporter on it upon completion.
Cooper’s book club, called 12 Books a Year, can be found here.
You can watch the video segment here, but needless to say, some reading assignments were handed out by the end of the game.
