No Nick Saban, no problem?

That’s certainly been the case in the first half of the Iron Bowl as Alabama is in complete control of this game, leading Auburn 21-3 at the break.

Saban’s absence, due to a positive COVID test, was the big news heading into this game but the biggest story from the field has been the play of Alabama’s offense during the first half.

Mac Jones has only completed nine passes in the first half but three of them went for touchdowns. Devonta Smith, John Metchie and Jahleel Billingsley each caught one score for the Crimson Tide in the first half.

Bo Nix has completed 12 of his 21 pass attempts for 96 yards and an interception.
