While Alabama’s offense is putting up insane stats, Auburn hasn’t had the same success.

The Crimson Tide have scored 45 or more points in every game during their 6-0 start. The Tigers have scored 21 or fewer points during four of their six games as they’ve started 4-2.

How much has Auburn struggled? And how dominant has Alabama been?

Well, as Adam Gorney of Rivals.com pointed out on Twitter on Monday, Alabama backup quarterback Jalen Hurts and Auburn starting quarterback Jarrett Stidham currently have the same number of touchdown passes — five.

Hurts has only attempted 42 passes this year, yet he has 453 yards, five touchdowns and only one interception. He is the backup to Tua Tagovailoa, who has passed for 1,495 yards, 18 touchdowns and no interceptions while not attempting a pass in a fourth quarter this season.

Hurts may have lost his starting job to Tagovailoa, but both quarterbacks have played well when leading the offense this season.

Auburn hasn’t been as fortunate. Stidham has passed for 1,177 yards and only two interceptions, but he only has five touchdowns, including two over the past three games.

Stidham threw no touchdowns in the Tigers’ loss to Mississippi State on Saturday. If Auburn wants to get back on track, it may need better performances from Stidham and the offense. As for Alabama, no team has stopped its high-powered offense yet.

The two rivals will meet in the Iron Bowl on Nov. 24.
