Alabama is making a habit of walk-off wins on Saturdays to start this season.

The latest clutch hit came from William Hamiter, who launched a bases-loaded one-out hit to deep left field as the Crimson Tide knocked off Wright State 12-11 in 11 innings on Saturday. This came after a similar performance last week when Zane Denton had a walk-off blast to seal the series win over McNeese State. Denton launched a towering drive to right field to give Alabama a 4-3 victory a week ago after the Tide trailed 3-1 in the eighth inning.

Peyton Wilson helped Alabama tie the game with a two-run single in the eighth inning. The back-and-forth affair began with Alabama holding a 4-0 lead after three innings.

Alabama came into the weekend ranked No. 22 as the Crimson Tide improved to 6-1 following the first game on Saturday.

Rain in the forecast on Sunday forced the need for a double header on Saturday.
