Betting experts say Alabama would be multi-touchdown favorite over UCF

UCF is famously claiming a national championship for its undefeated 2017 season and Peach Bowl win over Auburn. If the Knights faced College Football Playoff champion Alabama on the field, however, they would be three-touchdown underdogs according to a pair of sports betting experts.
According to the “Bet the Board” podcast, Alabama would be a 21-point favorite in a hypothetical showdown with UCF. One Auburn fan pointed out that the Knights were double-digit underdogs (10-10.5 points) against AU as well, which former Caesars oddsmaker Todd Fuhrman wasn’t having.
UCF’s successful season and demonstrated ability to defeat an SEC opponent has led to spirited debate about expanding the four-team CFP. For now, though, Alabama is the sport’s official recognized national champion. UCF may “want Bama,” but the Knights won’t be getting the chance to upset the Crimson Tide.
People can say all they want about @UCF_Football being “national champions” but we asked @PayneInsider & @ToddFuhrman this morning about a potential line vs @AlabamaFTBL ; their answer?

If you think the level of focus in a potential real national title game is the same as Auburn in the Peach Bowl you’ve lost your mind https://t.co/WGF5WEl4Jl
