Bill Belichick is enjoying having Mac Jones as his quarterback, and Sunday proved to be another example why as the New England Patriots secured a 25-22 victory over the Houston Texans with a field goal with 15 seconds remaining.

Mac Jones, the rookie out of Alabama, turned in another solid performance with a 23-for-30 passing performance for 231 yards with a touchdown and an interception. After the game, Belichick shared his latest impressions of Jones.

“Mac’s been good for us all year in terms of his leadership, his resilience and always counting on him to do the right thing. And he really does it at a high level, so it’s been impressive.”

Jones helped the Patriots end a two-game losing streak when he found Hunter Henry for a 13-yard touchdown with about 9 minutes left in the game.
