Bond, Isaiah Bond, was the hero of Alabama’s thrilling Iron Bowl win over Auburn, as Brad Nessler declared on CBS in the style of 007.

After the thrilling win on The Plains, Bond revealed that his game-winning catch came on a play named “grave digger.”

The Crimson Tide’s game win poster for the Iron Bowl decided to have some fun with the James Bond reference from Nessler. While the game win poster is sometimes used for rivalry trolling, UA’s social media team focused more on 007, going with “No Time to Die,” the title of Daniel Craig’s final film as the secret agent.

A sophomore, Bond leads all Alabama receivers in catches with 39 after logging 5 receptions for 75 yards against Auburn. He is second on the team in receiving yards with 542, behind Jermaine Burton with 749 receiving yards.

Bond’s 4 TD receptions are tied for second on the team alongside Amari Niblack. Burton leads the team with 7 TD catches.

Out of Buford, Georgia, Bond returns to the Peach State this Saturday as Alabama faces No. 1 UGA in the 2023 SEC Championship Game in Atlanta. Kickoff is set for 4 p.m. ET, with the game airing on CBS.
