Coming out of high school, former Alabama RB Josh Jacobs was an unheralded recruit from Oklahoma. Now, he’s a potential first-round pick in the 2019 NFL Draft.

Jacobs’ younger brother, Isaiah, is a 3-star running back in the 2020 class, and currently holds offers from SEC schools like Arkansas and Ole Miss.

However, Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide are starting to show interest in the younger Jacobs. Per a report from 247Sports, Saban told Jacobs that if he improves his speed and agility, an Alabama offer will likely be on the way:

The nation’s No. 61 running back, according to the industry-generated 247Sports Composite Rankings, says all Saban wants to see are better times on his 40 and his agility testing this spring and/or summer.

“He said that’s the only thing stopping them,” Jacobs said of his testing numbers. “He said for me to come to their camp or that they’ll also be down here this spring to see me. He said all I gotta do is show them and they’re going to offer me.”

Per the 247Sports composite, Isaiah Jacobs is the No. 61 running back in the class of 2020 and the No. 10 overall recruit from the state of Oklahoma.

One Jacobs brother has already gone from unheralded to superstar, so it’s certainly possible it could happen again. Will it be at Alabama?
