Alabama AD shares photo showing Bryant-Denny Stadium seating arrangement
College football in 2020 looks different. The atmosphere will be much different because teams have significantly reduced attendance at stadiums due to social distancing guidelines.
Alabama announced in August that it would allow 20 percent capacity inside Bryant-Denny Stadium. Alabama’s stadium is listed as having a 101,821 capacity, and 20 percent of that is around 20,364 fans.
The Crimson Tide opens the season against Missouri at home on September 26.
Alabama athletic director Greg Byrne showed a photo Saturday of individual chair backs being installed for fans in attendance, and it’s the first-look at the Tide’s seating arrangement.
“We are installing individual chair backs on each bleacher seat to identify seating locations for our fans at Bryant-Denny,” Byrne wrote.

It’s going to seem so strange..
Let’s play…Roll Tide !
RTR and fAU.
That seems like a heckuva lot more than 6 feet.
Perspective on pics is misleading, but two rows between seats in a straight line is about right. I had to mark off seats for my volleyball gym and I managed to just use one row between seats, but I had to zig zag them, essentially putting three rows between the ones that are in a line.
