Chris ‘The Bear’ Fallica sees a dramatic buildup to the huge showdown at Kyle Field this week between Alabama and Texas A&M. In fact, the long-time ESPN researcher and College GameDay personality now at FOX Sports only adds to the suspense.

“Is Saturday the most significant game in the Saban era at Alabama? A loss would mean two losses by end of October for first time since his first season (2007). National title hopes all but dashed, as may SEC West title chances…,” Fallica wrote on social media. “Would the loss signify the key Bama rivals in the SEC have arrived and closed the gap, with NIL meaning they are going nowhere? Or is it just a blip? Interesting conversation, which I’m sure everyone will reach the same conclusion and react with level heads!”

Alabama has won 9 of the last 11 games in this series, but the Aggies won the last meeting at Kyle Field in 2021. Alabama won last year, 24-20.

Alabama’s Nick Saban is 9-2 in his career against A&M, all at Alabama. Texas A&M’s Jimbo Fisher is 1-5 against the Tide, including a 1-4 mark at A&M and an 0-1 record at Florida State.
