MLB superstar attempts to sing Alabama fight song
Los Angeles Dodgers star Clayton Kershaw is a once-in-a-generation type of talent as a MLB starting pitcher.
And after hearing him sing , he should probably just stick with that career path.
Nick Saban and a crew of Crimson Tide players sang “A Whole New World” from Disney’s Aladdin soundtrack when they were visitors at a Dallas children’s hospital in advance of last week’s Cotton Bowl.
Since they were good sports and gave their best in the performance, they were able to pick the karaoke song to be sang by the next celebrity guest.
Alabama QB Jake Coker issued the challenge to Kershaw, who is a Texas native, to give a performance of Alabama’s fight song.
AL.com has the video of Kershaw giving it his best effort.
While these guys aren’t going to be winning a Grammy Award anytime soon, it is fun to see them not taking themselves too seriously in the name of a good cause.
