Colin Cowherd believes Carolina is down to 2 quarterbacks in its search to settle on the player it will draft at No. 1 overall: Alabama’s Bryce Young and Ohio State’s CJ Stroud.

The way the FOX Sports radio host sees it, Stroud is a bigger version of Young, as both are accurate, win a lot and make good decisions, but the Panthers are trying to figure out how close Stroud is to Young.

Cowherd believes Young is more talented than Stroud, is more agile, and on the fly is more accurate.

“If he’s 90% of Bryce Young in all those,” Cowherd said, “he’s worth drafting one (overall) because he’s bigger. Because size does matter. And what I appreciate about the Bryce Young narrative over the last several months is at least now we’re all grownups and can discuss size.”

The key is how much more information is Carolina trying to gather about Stroud.

“Everybody knows what Bryce Young is, the question is, what is CJ Stroud,” Cowherd said.
