College football fans express concern about Alabama during Arkansas game
By Keith Farner
Published:
Once Arkansas pulled within 3 points late in the first half, college football fans wondered if Arkansas would keep it tight the rest of the game, and if Alabama has what it takes to prevail.
But Alabama responded quickly to re-build its lead back to a 10-point lead. Yet Arkansas wasn’t going to be denied, and responded with another score thanks to a big play pass that put the ball near the goal line after review.
The Alabama struggles shed light on the No. 2 ranking, and how several fans pointed out that the Crimson Tide didn’t deserve it.
The Razorbacks pulled with 17-14 with 3:36 remaining.
Here’s a sample of some of the comments:
Alabama is not number 2 #NCAAF

Alabama’s defense is terrible, I don’t see the hype! How do you let Ark get 30+ yards on 1st and 10 from their own 4 and then let them basically convert a 3rd and 16. C’mon Saban, you’re better than this man

Alabama will most likely win this game but they look sluggish. Arkansas just went 94 yards down their throat to cut it to 10-7.
Alabama has no running game. You lock up Jameson Williams and they’re offense is mediocre.

Arkansas is still in this game despite their fumble issues and the refs determination not to call pass interference against Alabama.

Gotta re-read the tweet. That’s not what I said.
‘As this season has matured, I’ve grown less impressed with Alabama with every passing week.’
‘With every passing week.’
