Colorado DA reportedly moves to dismiss charges against Jerry Jeudy
Former Alabama WR Jerry Jeudy was arrested in Colorado recently on a “criminal tampering” charge stemming from an incident involving the mother of his child.
On Tuesday morning, though, it was reported that the process to dismiss the charges had begun.
Per ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the DA in Arapahoe County, where Jeudy was arrested, has moved to dismiss the criminal charges:
The DA in Arapahoe County has moved to dismiss all charges against Jerry Jeudy in advance of his scheduled hearing today. “After reviewing the evidence, I always believed that no crime had been committed and all charges would be dismissed,” said his attorney Harvey Steinberg.

Jeudy was set to be in court for a scheduled hearing on Tuesday. If the charges are dropped, he likely wouldn’t have to appear.
Jeudy was the No. 15 overall pick of the Denver Broncos in the 2020 NFL Draft. In 2 professional seasons, he has recorded 90 catches for 1,323 yards and 3 touchdowns.
