Riley Cole made quite a bit of noise in recruiting circles with a Tweet in which he was critical of the Alabama coaching staff while announcing his decommitment from the Crimson Tide just days before National Signing Day.
His father went on the radio in Alabama to clear the air about the dispute, which centered around the idea of grayshirting being brought up by members of the new look Crimson Tide defensive coaching staff.
The three-star LB reportedly picked up an offer from Oklahoma coach Bob Stoops following the decommitment, but he ultimately chose to go a different direction.
Cole signed with South Alabama on Wednesday:
