Alabama made sure that a highly coveted prospect stayed home. On Sunday, the Crimson Tide earned a pledge from a 2024 DL.

Jeremiah Beaman made a post on Twitter stating that he would be committing to Alabama. He hails from Parker High School in Birmingham, Alabama.

Beaman is ranked as a 4-star DL per the 247Sports Composite. He is the No. 13 DL and No. 7 prospect from the state of Alabama. Beaman is listed at 6-foot-4, 265 pounds.

Plenty of SEC country wanted Beaman including Auburn, Tennessee, Florida, Georgia, LSU, Mississippi State, and South Carolina.

Alabama now has seven total commits from the 2024 class. Beaman is the first recruit to do so in the month of May. The Crimson Tide have the seventh-best 2024 class in the SEC according to 247Sports.

Nick Saban was not able to coach Alabama to the SEC Championship game in 2022. LSU represented the SEC West in the title game this time around.

Alabama went on to face Kansas State in the Sugar Bowl and won handily by a score of 45-20. The Crimson Tide went on to finish the year at 11-2.
