Tyrell Shavers may have a busy spring ahead of him.

Following the conclusion of the football season, the rising sophomore receiver was spotted on Friday participating in Alabama’s first day of spring baseball. While he played baseball in high school for Lewisville High School in Texas, Shavers has not played baseball since arriving in Tuscaloosa.

Shavers saw the field for Alabama’s football team in every game last season but did not register any stats. The 6-foot-6 Shavers was a four-star recruit and rated as a top 100 overall prospect in the 2017 recruiting cycle.
