As the southeast braces for a snowstorm, the University of Alabama has already canceled classes for Tuesday, Jan. 28.
However, there’s also a men’s basketball game scheduled for that night between the Crimson Tide and the No. 22 Mississippi State Bulldogs.
According to a tweet from the Alabama athletic department, the game is still on as scheduled and will be played at 7:30 p.m. Central time:

Naturally, that could change depending on the severity of the storm, but for now, the game is on.
It’s an important one for the Tide, too, as they could use a big win over a ranked foe to pad their NCAA Tournament resume.
