Deuce Vaughn ignited the Sugar Bowl Saturday afternoon with his long scoring run to give Kansas a 10-point lead.

Already leading 3-0, Kansas State tacked on 7 more as Vaughn housed one from 88 yards. It was KSU’s first play of its third series on offense. The first series, the Wildcats threw an interception. The second, it kicked a field goal to take a 3-0 lead.

For Vaughn, it was a career-long rushing touchdown, his 9th of the season.

Alabama quarterback Bryce Young got Alabama on the board on the very next drive with a 5-yard touchdown pass to receiver Isaiah Bond.
