DeVonta Smith was among the Alabama faithful wondering why the Crimson Tide offense struggled so much in the first half at Auburn.

Bill O’Brien received plenty of criticism from Alabama fans as the offensive coordinator couldn’t seem to find answers. Smith didn’t refer to O’Brien specifically, but instead, the way the plays unfolded.

“Why tf we doing all this checking at the LOS ?,” Smith tweeted.

It was a stark contrast from Alabama’s offense coming into the game, which averaged 502 yards and 44 points per game. But in the first half, Auburn had 5 sacks, allowed zero points, 68 yards, 2.3 yards per play and just 4 first downs.

Into the third quarter, Auburn had 6 sacks and Alabama had 6 completions.
