The Cincinnati Bengals travel to take on the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday afternoon.

For Cincinnati DB Dre Kirkpatrick, the matchups he’ll face with the Atlanta receivers is personal.

Start with Mohamed Sanu, who spent a few years with the Bengals. Then there are Julio Jones and Calvin Ridley, both Alabama alums like Kirkpatrick.

This week, Kirkpatrick said he is excited for the challenges that await on Sunday (via Cincinnati.com):

“That stuff is personal this week,” Kirkpatrick said. “I already know it, they’re not going to say it. For me. I played with Mo, I played with Julio (in college). Calvin played at ‘Bama. I know the buzz going around there because that’s where we’re from. I already know I’ve got to have my (stuff) together. It’s going to be real. I already know it.”

The Bengals and Falcons kick off at 1 p.m. Eastern time on Sunday. Tune in to CBS to see who gets the best of the all-Alabama matchups.
