ESPN analytics expert Seth Walder names 3 teams with best chance to win 2020 title
There is momentum building toward having a 2020 college football season, and though no one is sure what that will look like at the moment, there will be some powerful teams.
Some familiar faces are once again expected to compete for the title, and on Monday, ESPN analytics writer Seth Walder named the 3 teams with the best chances to win.
As you can see below, he said during an appearance on “The Paul Finebaum Show” that Clemson, Ohio State and Alabama are the 3 favorites:
ESPN Sports Analytics Writer @SethWalder tells us the three teams with the best chance to win the national championship this year are Clemson, Ohio State and Alabama, in that order.

What about the Georgia Bulldogs? The Dawgs have been close in 2018 and 2019, but Walder says a Week 3 game against Alabama looms large:
ESPN Sports Analytics Writer @SethWalder says Georgia projects to be as strong as the past two seasons, but because of Alabama being on the schedule, gives them just a 26% chance to make the playoff.

Will one of those teams win the College Football Playoff? We’ll find out at some point in 2021, probably.
