If “Hard Knocks” was ever to come to college football, you just knew Nick Saban and Alabama would be involved.

While this won’t be a no filter series produced by HBO, ESPN has announced a weekly “all-access” camp series surrounding Alabama’s fall camp leading up to the season opener against Louisville in Orlando. The series will be called Training Days: Rolling with the Tide with the debut episode coming out Aug. 9 at 7 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. CT on ESPN2.

The series will be four episodes total and will cover all aspects of the Alabama program, including first-hand accounts, behind closed doors and camp battles.

The second episode is set to air Wednesday, Aug. 15 at 7 p.m. ET, the third episode on Wednesday, Aug. 22 at 7 p.m. ET and the fourth and final episode will air Wednesday, Aug. 29 at 10 p.m. ET. Every episode will be aired by ESPN2.

“Alabama football is one of the premier programs in all of sports,” said ESPN vice president of production Lee Fitting said in a statement. “The intrigue behind their championship-filled decade and the fans’ appetite for unique access continues to escalate. This series will provide a unique perspective of the Crimson Tide as they build upon a foundation for what they hope is another championship campaign.  We appreciate Coach Nick Saban and the entire Alabama operation for allowing us inside their walls over the next month.”
