Entering his senior season, Dowd brings plenty of experience to Auburn. The Dothan (Alabama) High School product has played in 99 career games, making 83 starts.

Dowd posted the best numbers of his career this past season. Starting 33-of-34 games, Dowd averaged 14.4 points and 10.1 rebounds over 36 minutes per game, all career highs.

Jeff Goodman of the Field of 68 shared a scouting report that’s sure to excite AU hoops fans. Dowd is decscribed as a good shooter who is elite above the rim and as a rebounder. With Pearl’s staff, he’ll look to work on post moves, passing and guarding on the perimeter.

Pearl is entering his second season as Auburn’s head coach. The Tigers missed the NCAA Tournament but won the NIT.
