This offseason, Alabama DC Tosh Lupoi left Tuscaloosa for the Cleveland Browns, surprising many as he opted to join Freddie Kitchens’ staff.
Now, he’s in Indianapolis at the NFL Combine, where he had an interesting encounter with a fan, to say the least.
Per NFL analyst Chase Goodbread, Lupoi was repeatedly asked by an autograph seeker to sign Cincinnati Bengals memorabilia:
Signing off from Indianapolis with a funny combine story. Was walking thru convention center Sunday when an autograph seeker stuck a #Bengals mini helmet out for new #Browns asst coach Tosh Lupoi to sign. He politely declined with "sorry I'm not with that organization" (More ⬇️)

I've never been an autograph hound, but I gotta assume rule No.1 is know who you're asking. Don't think I would've handled it 2nd time as well as Lupoi did. Straight class.

It’s nice that Lupoi handled the interactions so well, but hopefully that autograph seeker learned his lesson moving forward.
We’ll see how Lupoi fares in the NFL this year, but he has plenty of talented players to work with along the Browns’ defensive line.
