Entering Thursday night’s NFL Draft, Nick Saban had had a player drafted in the first round at every position on offense and defense … except at quarterback.

Tua Tagovailoa was able to punch that tag for Saban, making the Alabama head coach as the only one in the modern draft era with a player drafted at all 22 positions. That’s just plain impressive.

The Miami Dolphins drafted Tagovailoa with the No. 5 pick in Thursday night’s NFL Draft, and it’ll be interesting to follow his NFL career.

Specifically for Saban, this is just another impressive benchmark for his spectacular NFL Draft history. Alabama is putting players into the NFL unlike many others in college football history, and the defensive guru now adds a first-round quarterback to his impressive resume.
