If you missed it, Alabama’s official Twitter account caused quite the reaction recently by teasing its new profile picture.

The image shared by the Crimson Tide featured a white-on-white look of the classic Alabama “A” along with a white background and a “stay tuned!” caption.

Without any other further explanation, Alabama fans are eagerly awaiting what this could mean.

Arguably the most popular theory is a potential return of white helmets for the Crimson Tide.

A day later, Byrne responded to one fan asking for a return of the white helmets.

Unfortunately, for fans eager to see the white helmets return, they’ll have to continue to wait.
