Former Alabama defensive back Ha Ha Clinton-Dix has an opportunity to get back on an NFL roster.

Pro Football Talk is reporting that Clinton-Dix will participate in minicamp with the Houston Texans on a tryout basis. Clinton-Dix was out of the league last season after being let go by the Dallas Cowboys during September roster cuts.

A first-round pick in the 2014 NFL Draft, Clinton-Dix has six seasons of NFL experience. He played with the Green Bay Packers from 2014 into the 2018 season before he was traded to Washington. In 2019, Clinton-Dix played for the Chicago Bears.

Over six seasons, Clinton-Dix played in 96 games (90 starts) recording 522 tackles and 33 passes defended, including 16 interceptions. In 2016, Clinton-Dix was selected to the Pro Bowl.
